Det var en god tid for ny engelsk musik, der sidst i februar 1993. Med f\u00e5 dages mellemrum udsendte fremstormende Suede opf\u00f8lgeren til ‘Metal Mickey’, en endnu bedre ny single ved navn ‘Animal Nitrate’ og Pulp – da stadig en hemmelighed for de fleste – den sublime ‘Razzmatazz’-single. Vi k\u00f8bte ‘Animal Nitrate’ i London om formiddagen, sidstn\u00e6vnte oppe i Sheffield sent p\u00e5 eftermiddagen. Sad\u00a0fredag aften\u00a0p\u00e5 lejet v\u00e6relse over st\u00e5lbyens orange lys, h\u00f8rte de to sange igen og igen p\u00e5 discman. En af Suede-B-siderne, ‘The Big Time’, gjorde ogs\u00e5 lykke. Senere tog vi p\u00e5 The Leadmill, drak pints, r\u00e5bte h\u00f8jt, dansede m\u00e5ske.
