I den forbindelse beretter hun om sine favoritalbums ovre p\u00e5 <a href=\"http:\/\/thequietus.com\/articles\/24512-tanya-donelly-belly-interview-favourite-albums?page=1\">The Quietus<\/a>, hvorfra citatet her om Iggy Pop&#8217;s Lust For Life kommer, da ikke mindst fordi det indeholder en cool Berlin-anekdote med Pixies&#8217; Black Francis i hovedrollen&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8211; It&#8217;s one of my favourite things. Not even just albums. One of my favourite things in the world. I&#8217;m gonna have to confess that I came to Iggy kind of late. Growing up, all my punk rock friends deified him. I didn&#8217;t really get it. I must have been 20, 21 in Boston. It was just playing in the background at a friend of mine&#8217;s house. I&#8217;m so lyrically focused \u2013 if someone&#8217;s saying something interesting, then I&#8217;m completely hooked \u2013 that I ended up just standing near the speaker listening to that album, quite rudely. I think it was &#8216;Success&#8217;\u2026 &#8220;here comes the zoo\u2026 here comes my Chinese rug&#8221;. I loved everything he was saying, I thought it was hilarious. And it&#8217;s very rare that you can listen to music that is deeply moving and has weight, and also makes you laugh. I feel like there were so many songs on <i>Lust For Life<\/i> where one minute you&#8217;re like, &#8220;That is a fact, that is truth.&#8221; And then the next, making you giggle. From there &#8230; I just listened to it over and over. I was deep into it when we did the first Throwing Muses\/Pixies tour, and so I was playing it a ton in the van. We ended up one night driving around Berlin after our show, and just listening to &#8216;The Passenger.&#8217; Charles just kept saying: &#8220;<i>again<\/i>&#8220;. So we listened to it like, 15 times in a row, driving around Berlin.
