Enig Jens! “Paninaro”, “I want a dog” og “We All Feel Better in the Dark” er så absolut blandt mine største favoritter..
Hvad med Richard Hamilton?
Pastor, det ved jeg altså godt.
Men der opstår i mixet af hans simple stil og kjolens moderne snit en energisk enkelthed, der nemt står som eksponent for samtidens pop(art).
Med risiko for at blive udråbt til pernittengrynenes konge, vil jeg godt påpege at Piet Mondrian ikke lavede pop art. Han kaldte selv sin kunst forneoplasticisme og døde i 1944, adskillige år før nogen havde tænkt på pop art.
Pop art skyldes i USA folk som Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein og svensk-amerikanske Claes Oldenburg. Også andre steder som i Spanien og Japan var der prominente pop-kunstnere.
‘I Want A Dog’ er god. Tennant på toppen som tekstskriver!
Og ‘Rent’.
Nej, det er “I want a dog” i Frankie Knuckles versionen eller Axl Rose favoritten “Being Boring”.
