Brett Anderson's favoritalbum fra de seneste 15 år

– When did I first come across it? A friend of mine said, “You’ve gotta listen to this band, they sound a bit like Suede”. I was curious and a bit flattered, but then I checked them out and thought “They don’t sound anything like Suede actually”. But, I remember, just listening to them – I think I had it on my Walkman, or it might have been my iPod, I can’t remember what technology it was – I remember listening to them on the underground and just thinking, “God, this music sounds like it’s made to be the soundtrack to get a tube train to”. There’s something mechanical and dark and beautiful and romantic about it, and it’s still a really beautiful record. I listen to it a lot, and ‘NYC’, is one of those records that I think I’d be happy to be buried to. Was I doing drugs at the time it came out? Er… yeah, it was 2000, so it was a different phase for me. I was listening to guitar music again, for the first time in ages, and yeah, Interpol are definitely my favourite band of the last 15 years, I’d say.
