‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ er skrevet til Broadway-musicalen The Right Way, men blev først et hit under krigen i 1944, da Bing Crosby’s version strøg til tops. Melodien er af Sammy Fain, og Irving Kahal har skrevet ordene, som er så overlegent enkle men forfinet gode, de fortjener at blive vist sort på hvidt her:
