Den her forstår jeg ikke helt… Er det vokal/guitar/bas/trommer-kombinationen han tænker på? Rent visuelt kan man da godt se forskel på f.eks. Beatles og Led Zeppelin og Ramones og R.E.M.

Jeg har hørt nogen sige noget lignende om Bill Evans’ jazztrio (klaver, bas, trommer).
