@ Pastoren & smoelle – I gør jer selv en stor bjørnetjeneste omkring The Undertones. Deres sidste album The Sin Of Pride er en perle, og har al den soul – ja! – bands som The Style Council talte om men aldrig lykkedes få ned i musik. The Sin Of Pride er helt fantastisk, med Feargal Sharkey i absolut stemmehypervibrerende og hjerteknust storform!
Syv styk, Heaven Up Here, East Side Story, The River, Vienna, Kilimanjaro, Computerwelt og Nightclubbing. Undertones har jeg altid mest regnet for egnede til opsamlinger 😉
Det var i sandhed post-punkdage når en artrocker som Bill Nelson kunne komme i top 40 …
Jeg har faktisk kun 4 af dem, nemlig The River, Computerwelt (tæller den tyske udgave?), Heaven Up Here og så Jim Steinmans Bad For Good. Hov! Vent! Jeg har faktisk også engang ejet Magnetic Fields med Jean Michel Jarre. Til gengæld her jeg faktisk aldrig ejet et album med The Undertones. There goes my street cred.
